    Cortisol & Adrenals

    The adrenal glands sit on the top of the kidneys and are mostly known for producing your stress hormone, cortisol.

    Your cortisol levels are responsive to all kinds of stressors such as physiological, social, and psychological stresses. Chronic stress can lead to cortisol dysfunction.

    Abnormal cortisol levels and response can lead to a wide variety of symptoms:
